The Lion Baseball Team lost to Burnet 3-7 and beat Jarrell 12-2. Great Team Effort today! The Lions return to action tomorrow in Salado at 11 AM and 3 PM.
Tuesday, 2/25, some of our Advanced Floral and Floral I students got the opportunity to visit Southern Floral Co in Austin. Students learned about all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into bringing floral designs to life!

We want to take the time to highlight what we're up to when we're preparing for our Career Development Events. This competitions help prepare students with technical skills applicable to multiple different careers in Agriculture.
We have 5 different teams in our Chapter: Milk Quality, Vet Science, Floriculture, Livestock Evaluation and Horse Evaluation!
What is FFA Horse Judging? It’s a competition where students evaluate and rank horses based on conformation and performance. They compare horses to an ideal standard, building critical thinking and equine knowledge for future careers. Our first contest is Thursday, February 27th!

Lady Lions Track season started today at the Snook Invitational Meet! 🏃♀️
Each girl showed up today running, jumping & throwing with fight, determination & pride. 💪
From a Silver medal in Shot Put to ending the night with a Gold medal in the 4x400 relay, big things happened all around for our Lady Lions!
This meet is just the start of a big season ahead! 🔥

We had 8 tennis players play in the Rockdale JV Invitational today. All of them played hard for several matches. Congratulations to Nevaeh and Wyatt for placing third in the mixed doubles division and Lola for placing third in the girl singles division.

The Jv Baseball team run rules Moody and the Varsity falls just short 2-1. The Varsity is back in action Friday and Saturday in Salado. Both days at 11:00 and 3:00.
The lady lions fought hard through 7 innings tonight vs Rockdale coming up just short. We are super proud of the effort through the game! The lady lions will play in the Taylor Tournament starting Thursday February 27th at 9:00am!
Mrs. Marek’s 1st-grade class had a blast with hands-on learning today! They explored the science behind soil absorption with their experiment, Who’s Thirsty? Students tested different types of soil to see which one soaks up the most water—discovering the best option for planting. Learning through exploration makes science even more fun!
Last week (February 17-21), Granger FFA celebrated National FFA Week!
Our officers stayed busy around campus and got to share with our 3rd graders what we do in Ag & FFA!
They ended the week participating at Texas FFA Day at the Capitol. This is an experience dedicated to learning how to advocate for your program and how our state government works.
