Our team showed up and played with heart, never giving up despite the situation.
The Lady Lions basketball team has proved that they are here to play this season with a record of 16-6 as we move into the rest of district play.

The girls defeated Elgin 42-41, but fell short to St. Josephs, 48-53.
They'll be back in Mumford tomorrow taking on Brazos Christian and Giddings at 12:00pm and 4:00pm.

Boys Varsity traveled to Hamilton today; losing their first competition, winning the second. Each of the following players scored double digits in each game: Kael J. (12, 10 pts), Kye W. (11, 12 pts) & Isaac C. (14, 12 pts). Tournament play concludes tomorrow with a 9:50 AM tip.
