
Thursday, April 3--our Milk Quality, Floriculture, Horse Judging and Vet Med team members traveled to Cleburne for their last contest before Area. We love seeing how these kids improve and are always looking forward to what challenges the next contest will bring! Good job to these students!
Special shoutout to our Horse Judging team. This team consisted of 4th-6th grade students. This was only their second contest and they ROCKED it competing against experienced high schoolers!

The boys track team traveled to Holland for the district track meet this week on Monday and Thursday.
Here are the JV results:
The 800m - Onasis Mendez was 3rd and Bentlee Hutson was 5th
The 100m - Izaiah Luna was 4th
The 400m - Onasis Mendez was 4th and Bentlee Hutson was 5th
The 200m - Izaiaih Luna was 4th
The 1600m - Jesus Viveros was 4th
The 3200m - Jesus Viveros was 5th
The shot put - Titan Perez was 3rd and Connor Vanek was 5th
Here are the results for the Varsity area qualifiers:
The 4x100 Relay (Wyatt Sanchez, Wyatt Johle, Nicholas Blane, and Noah Hobratsch) finished 3rd
The 4x200 Relay (Wyatt Rochner, Tre Castillo, Caden Carpenter, and Dayton Knippa) got 4th
The 4x400 Relay (Wyatt Sanchez, Caleb Tucker, Wyatt Johle and Isaac Campos) finished 3rd
The 800m - Caleb Tucker was 2nd and Isaac Campos was 3rd
The 110m Hurdles - Tre Castillo was 2nd
The 400m - Caleb Tucker was 2nd
The 300m Hurdles - Noah Hobratsch was 3rd
The 200m - Wyatt Sanchez was 2nd
The 1600m - Isaac Campos was 4th
The 3200m - Kye Welles was 2nd and Landon Hernandez was 3rd
The Long Jump - Nicholas Blane was 4th
The Discus - Ryder Bice was 3rd and Grayson Smith was 4th
The High Jump - Noah Hobratsch was 3rd and Caleb Tucker was 4th
These young men competed so hard and finished 2nd as a team. They will be back in action next Thursday (4/10) in Flatonia.






Wednesday evening, the junior high boys track team traveled to Thorndale to compete in the district track meet, and they represented very well. For the 8th grade: Ransom Reed was 6th in the 100m. Kaiden Brewer was 2nd and Jenson Kuecker was 4th in the 200m. In the 400m, Tanner Brett was 3rd and Ryker Ellison was 5th. Cohen Repa won the 800m. Genesis Hinojosa was 2nd in the 1600 and 5th in the 2400. In the 300 hurdles, Lane Franke was 3rd and Cohen Repa finished 5th. Our 4x100m relay of Ayden Stevens, Kevyn Stevens, Jenson Kucker, and Lane Franke placed 4th. Brodie Fudge,Jenson Kuecker, Kaiden Brewer, and Tanner Brett finished 2nd in the 4x200 relay. The 4x400 relay of Brodie Fudge, Cohen Repa, Kaiden Brewer, and Tanner Brett finished 3rd. Brodie Fudge and Lane Franke got 5th and 6th in the long jump. Tyler Hamende got 2nd place in the shot put. Tanner Brett finished 2nd in the triple jump. Brodie Fudge was 2nd in high jump while Lane Franke and Cohen Repa tied for 6th. The 8th grade finished 3rd as a team.
In the 7th grade division, Logan Jenkins finished 1st in the 100m. Fredy Lopez, Logan Jenkins, and Brayden Martinez finished 1st, 2nd, and 5th in the 200m. Ty Randig finished 2nd in the 400m. Luke Tucker finished 1st in the 800, 1600, and 2400m. Flavio Leal was close behind in 2nd in the 1600 and 2400m. The 4x400 relay made up of Ty Randig, Fredy Lopez, Logan Jenkins, and Michael Huf made a hard charge to finish 2nd. In the long jump, Fredy Lopez and Logan Jenkins finished 2nd and 5th. In the discus JJ Hamby finished 4th. Ty Randig finished 4th in the triple jump. Ty also brought home 3rd in the high jump. The 7th grade boys also finished in 2nd place as a team! What a great finish to a great season for these young men. The future of the program looks bright!

Lion Baseball double dips Texas Wind. The JV wins 9-4 and Varsity takes it 15-4. The Lions return to action for the start of the second half of district play on Friday at 5:00 in Bartlett.

Granger Softball game time change!

We had great outcomes for our final events and several of our girls advance to finals on Thursday!
