Our Varsity tennis team competed in the Thrall tournament today, demonstrating growth, determination, and passion for the sport. Three of our athletes even went on to compete in the track meet at Thrall, showcasing their dedication as multi-sport athletes. We’re proud of all our tennis players for their hard work this week! Their next competition will be at the Cameron Invitational next week. Keep up the great work!

The Lady Lions middle school track team competed at the Tiger Relays in Thrall on Monday, 3/24. 🏃‍♀️🔥 Competition was tough, but these girls went out and gave it their all with lots of success at the end! The Lady Lions came up just a little short fighting extremely hard for 7 innings. Friday at Rosebud-Lott will be the start of the second round of district play! Come out and support the girls at 6:30 in Rosebud!

Our JV Tennis team competed in the Thrall Invitational today where seven of our athletes went out there and showed their passion for tennis! Good job today. They will be back on the court for the Cameron Invitational on 4/1.

Granger's Garden will be hosting its first ever plant sale from the transplants grown in our Greenhouse class! Starting March 31 and only as long as supplies last!

Granger FFA Students and Parents - Jr. FFA and High School FFA! Check your emails! We will be having our Spring Fundraiser Launch Meeting on Monday, April 7 at 5:30pm in the Ag Building. There will be a representative from the Fundraising Company in attendance to help get everyone set up!!

Congratulations to Carsyn Jochen! Carsyn won the 2nd-3rd Grade Division for the Granger National FFA Week Coloring Contest in February. Her coloring page was sent to the State Contest. We just received notice that she placed 4th in all the State for the 2nd-3rd Grade Division!🏅

In our FFA Chapter, one of our favorite CDEs is Livestock Judging! This is one of the most competitive contests in Texas. We were lucky enough this year to be able to have enough students for 2 High School Teams and 2 Junior FFA Teams! The third picture gives an example of an Expected Progeny Difference--a data sheet team members learn to interpret and make breeding animal selections based off of. This is an example of only 1 part of the 5 part contest.

Tonight the boys track team traveled to Thorndale and had a good showing, finishing 5th as a team against good competition. Wyatt Sanchez finished 2nd in the 200m with a personal best. Isaac Campos and Caleb Tucker finished 5th and 6th in the 800m. Isaac Campos was 3rd and Landon Hernandez was 6th in the 1600m. In the 3200m, Kye Welles, Landon Hernandez, and AD Lizardo finished 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Tre Castillo and Noah Gonzales finished 3rd and 4th in the 110 hurdles. Noah Hobratsch was 3rd in the 300 hurdles with a personal best. The 4x200m relay finished 5th. The 4x400m relay team finished 3rd. Grayson Smith got 5th in the discus. Caleb Tucker finished 3rd in the high jump. Dre Rhea and Titan Perez finished 3rd and 6th in the JV shot put. Izaiah Luna finished 6th in the JV 100m. In the JV 1600m, Jesus Viveros finished 6th. Jesus also got4th in the JV 3200m. We return to action next Thursday at Thrall.

Huge shoutout to our amazing PTO! Just before Spring Break, our teacher's lounge coffee maker called it quits. But today, they came to the rescue — not only with a new coffee maker but also a Keurig and K-Cups! You don’t know how much love (and caffeine) you’ve poured into our staff. We seriously couldn’t function without you!

The Lady Lions took a tough loss tonight against the Bremond Tigers. The girls made some great plays and had to overcome some adversity through all seven innings. The Lady Lions will be back in action on Friday in Marlin versus Chilton!
