Even with the winter weather causing school cancellations, we couldn’t forget to celebrate our students who earned Positive Referrals last week! Great job, Lions! Keep ROAR-ing!

This past Wednesday, our FFA members, as well as students in Ms. Pavliska’s 4th and 5th Period classes were privileged to be visited by some of the Texas FFA State Officers. Thank you to the State Officers for organizing and hosting the workshops “Ag is Everywhere” and “Input = Output” for our students!

Opening night in the new Lion's Den was a hit! Big crowds, loud supporters, and a win. Catch the girls in action on Friday in Rosebud-Lott.

Important band update: Centex Middle School Auditions The Centex Middle School auditions, originally scheduled for tomorrow evening, have been rescheduled by the event organizers due to ongoing weather concerns. Because of this change, we will no longer be able to attend, and our campus will not be participating in these auditions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding, we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

Due to freezing temperatures overnight, Granger ISD will have a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, January 28th.

🕘 Doors open for student drop-off at 9:30 AM

🕙 School begins at 10:00 AM

🚌 Buses will run 2 hours later than normal

🍽️ No breakfast will be served

Due to the current and expected road conditions for the morning of Tuesday, January 27th, Granger ISD has canceled school.

Granger ISD will return to normal operations on Wednesday, January 28th at our normal 7:45 AM start time!

Both the JV boys and Varsity boys gets wins on the road in Bartlett tonight!

Our Lady Lions secured a spot in playoffs tonight with their win against the Bartlett Lady Bulldogs! The JV team showed tremendous growth from their game in the first round to now. Varsity came in and played 32 minutes of basketball! Catch them in action on Tuesday, 1/27, against Milano in the Lion's Den.

GAME DAY! District play continues today against Bartlett. The girls will be at home and the boys will be on the road in Bartlett. JV boys start at 5:00, with the varsity following after.

The Granger powerlifting meet was a success! Many of our boy and girl lifters PR'd today! What a great showing for the Granger Lions!

What a successful powerlifting meet. The Granger administration, teachers, staff coaches, parents, students, booster club and everyone else that helped us made this meet possible. The Granger community came together in a huge way to support these athletes and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a huge part of this night.

Important Update: Middle School Centex Auditions

Due to concerns with the upcoming cold weather, the Middle School Centex Band auditions in Academy that were originally scheduled for tomorrow evening have been rescheduled to next Wednesday, January 28.
