JVA fought hard and took the Lassies down in 3 sets.
Varsity won in 3 sets in dominating fashion:
25-17, 25-11 & 25-12
Both teams next game will be this Saturday, 10/19, in McDade starting at 1:00pm.

Saturday, October 5, Granger FFA was represented at the Area 12 Greenhand Camp in Troy by a few of our Freshmen FFA Members.
Maize Hajda was chosen as the Star Greenhand from our FFA District for his display of leadership, participation and positive attitude throughout the day! ✨
Greenhand Camp is an introductory camp for FFA Freshmen to learn more about FFA and what opportunities are available to them in their Ag Program.

The Jr High Lady fought some hard tough battles this evening. Didn't get the outcome we wanted but it's evident that the girls have been working hard & showed off the improvement in their skills. Next game is Oct 17th in Holland starting at 5.

Fentanyl is a man-made, Schedule II narcotic that has reached a growing number of communities of all sizes across Texas and has impacted so many lives. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), within the last two years, teen overdose deaths related to Fentanyl have tripled. Over half of all overdose deaths are related to Fentanyl use. Death from Fentanyl overdose happens when the respiratory system slows, or not enough oxygen gets to the brain. Along with being district champs we have individual winners! Luke Tucker District champ getting 1st place with a time of 13:11. Cohen Repa getting 2nd place with a time of 14:07! Brodie Fudge also getting a medal placing 7th with a 15:15!
All of these athletes did tremendous and ended their season on a high!! 💜💛💜💛
Our Granger Lions Cross Country team came out fired up this morning at the District 27 meet! These boys laid it all on the line and it showed. As a team, the boys placed 2nd overall and are headed to Regionals in Corpus Christi on October 21st! We also had 3 runners place top 10 and make Regionals Individually. Kye Welles finishing in 2nd place, Landon Hernandez finished in 4th place and Senior Isaac Campos finished 7th!
Your Granger Lady Lions competed at the District 27 Cross Country meet this morning! We had two of our runner qualify for Regionals Individually. Brooklyn Gaswint placing 5th with a 14:49 and Kendall Welles placing 7th with a 15:14! Your Lady Lions also qualified as a team getting 3rd place overall! These girls are headed to Regionals in Corpus Christi on October 21st!
