Boys HS Basketball: JV Boys took a tough 25-44 loss to Bartlett today. A. Lizardo (7 pts), along with both C. Carpenter & S. Rogers (6 pts each) led the team in scoring.
Varsity won in a thriller vs the Bulldogs, 43-41. The Lions were led by I. Campos who ended with 10 points.
Lady Lions drop one to Bartlett tonight. Come pack the Lions Den on Tuesday as the Lady Lions host Holland in a battle to earn a playoff spot. JV will play in the old gym at 4:30 pm with a 6 pm varsity tip off.

The 8th grade boys basketball team played their final game on the road and ended the season with a big win over Bartlett! It was a great year and the team showed much improvement throughout the season! Look for the Lions to keep competing in the upcoming track season!
Girls JH Basketball traveled to Bartlett this evening and walked out with 2 Wins!! The girls have their last game at home on Monday against Bartlett! 7th grade starts at 5:00. Come support the girls if you can!!

Our JH girls off-season worked so hard today that they need some recognition!! We started with 3 different lifts in the weight room & to finish the workout we dominated a sprint workout. Attitudes were simply amazing & work ethic was perfect! Off-season got better today!

JH boys basketball competed today in the district tournament in Thorndale. 7th grade went 1-1 and 8th grade went 2-1 on the day. Both teams took home 3rd place in hard fought games today. Catch the 8th grade for the final game of the season on Thursday at home vs Bartlett.
Girls JH Basketball teams competed in the District Tournament today. 7th grade walked away with 3rd place and 8th grade got 4th place. Both teams fought hard and left everything on the court today!! We are very proud of their growth this season! We have 2 more weeks of basketball. They will play in Bartlett on Thursday.
Boys HS Basketball: JV took a tough loss vs Thorndale JV today at home; leading scorers being C. Carpenter (10 pts) & A. Lizardo (8 pts). Varsity would go on to lose their matchup with the Bulldogs in a 47-37 game. The Lions were led by C. Tucker (13 pts) & I. Campos (10 pts).
WHAT A NIGHT AT THE LIONS DEN! JV started the night off with a 32-28 win! Leading scorer was Jasmine Leamer. Varsity followed with a nail biting, hard faught, overall team effort 34-33 victory over Thorndale. Bye date next Tuesday, but a big one next Friday in Bartlett at 6 pm!
