The sub-varsity football teams took on the Bremond Tigers tonight in Granger. Although both teams fought very hard and did extremely well battling the Tigers, they finished the evening with losses. The JH will be back in action next Thursday at 5:00 PM in Chilton, while your JV Lions will be traveling to Holland for a 6:15 PM start!

The JV teams traveled to Florence tonight and both teams brought home wins!!! JV B took the sweep and JV A won in 3 sets. All teams are back in action for round 2 of district play Saturday at the Lions Den starting with JV B at 1 pm. Parent recognition will be between JV games.

Granger Volunteer Fire Department came to Granger Elementary School to teach us about fire safety! Thank you Granger VFD for serving our community and for keeping us safe!
The Jr High Lady Lions traveled to Thorndale to battle the Lady Bulldogs. The Mixed Team lost in 3 set with Sophia Rusche & Alicia Valverde serving multiple aces. The 7A team played hard and scrappy but ended up losing in 2 sets, Maura Buenrostro served 10 consecutive aces. The 8A team played intense back & fourth sets but came up short & lost in 2. We had some great spikes from Rylinn Hamby & Addy Miller with Kendall Wells & Skyla Thorsen making multiple serves.
Granger Elementary students are learning about how to stay safe during "Fire Safety Week". Kinder classes are on a fire safety scavenger hunt!
Our Granger VFD will visit our school tomorrow-thank your Granger VFD for all you do to keep our community safe!

2 of your Lady Lion varsity girls placed top 10 and qualified on their own for regionals! Brooklyn placing 5th and Eva placing 8th! But, results do not stop there!! Our girls fought so hard to get 3rd place as a team and advance to Regionals!! If you know about points the only thing separating all 4 top teams to regionals was 6 points!! These girls put all they had on the line today and I could not be more proud of each and every girl that ran today!! I can't wait to see what we do at regionals!! #XC2023 #GOLIONS

Let's start with Kye, Lucas and AD placing top 10 individually to qualify themselves to regionals!! What a show of effort and heart by these men!! Not only did our Lions go individually but as a team your Lions placed 2nd!! These young men showed us what it means to be a lion!! Junior High Girls Results!!
Your Lady Lions worked so hard today at the District meet to prove to everyone that Granger is on the map!! We had 3 top 10 finishers that medaled! One of those top 10 was Kendall Welles which is your 2023 JH Girls Cross Country District Champion!! As a team our girls finished 2nd place!! Not only did we have individual medals but each JH girl PR'd today!! 💜🤍 #GOLIONS #XC2023
Junior High Boys cross country results! These kids improved all year long and the results from District prove that!! We had 4 out of our 5 runners get top 10 and medal!
