🎉 Congratulations to Pedro Rivera on his new role as Director of Technology at Granger ISD! We're excited to see his expertise and passion make a positive impact across the district.

Granger High School FCCLA members recently returned from an incredible week at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. With over 245,000 members nationwide, we are proud to say Granger ISD has some of the very best representing both our district and the great state of Texas!

Throughout the week, our members attended leadership workshops focused on growing chapter membership, serving communities, and building leadership skills. They networked with peers from across the country, enjoyed FCCLA Night at Universal Studios and ended the week at the After Glow Party at Aquatica!

A special shoutout to Connor Vanek, who serves as the Texas State Parliamentarian, leading the Texas Delegation in electing the newest National Officer Team.

In STAR Events competitions, Jack Darley earned a gold medal in Job Interview, while Alexandria Lopez, Marisa Garcia, and Calvin Thames competed as a team in FCCLA Chapter website, placing 8th in the nations and receiving a silver medal!

These students made Texas and Granger ISD proud!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone for our youth camp that begins this morning at 9. Bring a water bottle. We will also provide water.

Yesterday was PreK & Kindergarten Signing Day, and it was a huge success!
We had an amazing turnout, so many smiles, and the sweetest little ones proudly signing their big contracts to join PreK and Kinder.

📵 New Cell Phone Law – HB 1481 📵
We’re excited to welcome our students back soon! As we prepare for a great year, we want to remind families of House Bill 1481, which prohibits the use of cell phones during the school day. At Granger ISD, all personal communication devices—including cell phones, smartwatches, wireless earbuds, and similar items—must be turned off and kept in backpacks at all times during the school day.

Lions, this is a reminder for incoming High School Band members. We will be holding required summer band rehearsals starting on Monday, July the 21st until Friday, August the 8th. These weekly rehearsals will be Monday through Friday of each week from 6pm until 9pm. If there are any attendance conflicts, please reach out to Mr. Mikat or Mr. Dellinger. Our Lions showed true servant leadership this weekend as they helped those in need from the flood. They devoted their time to give back to their community and we couldn't be more proud.

We finished up our youth summer volleyball camp this week! It was great to see all these girls come out, develop their foundational skills, and have fun on the court. Can’t wait to see our incoming 6th-8th graders from 12-2pm on July 28-30 and our incoming 9th-12th graders from 9-11:30am on July 28-30 for our last two volleyball camps of the summer! 🏐🦁🏐

Yesterday was the last full day for our FFA members at the Texas State Convention. We spent the day attending money management and ag advocacy workshops and ended the night with patriotic themed "FFA Fun Night" 🇺🇸

Day 2 at the Texas FFA State Convention! ⭐️ Our officers & members spent their morning networking at the Exhibit Hall and then spent the afternoon unwinding at the historic Fort Worth Stockyards.
