Congratulations to our FFA Broadcasting Team for taking 4th place out of 10 teams from the Austin/Temple/College Station area at the Area Contest today! 🌟 They will be bringing home a banner for our Chapter!
The Lady Lions took on Bruceville-Eddy today in Basketball. Our JV team played the whole game with 5 players and knocked it out the park with a 10-2 win! The varsity team fought hard for #32minutes and walked away with a 65-12 win.

Starting this weekend, the GHS Art Honor Society will begin selling holiday greeting cards featuring original art painted by GISD Art Students at Vintage Bistro. The proceeds will benefit the GISD Art Department.

The 8th grade boys basketball team got their first taste of action tonight against Bartlett. The Lions were led by Cohen Repa with 9 points, Brodie Fudge and Rylan Teegardin with 6 each. Plating well on both ends of the floor, the Lions came away with a 34-5 victory.
The 7th grade boys basketball team played 1st game tonight against Bartlett.. They were led by Luke Tucker with 15 points and Ty Randig with 5 points. After a back and forth contest, the Lions came up just short 25-23.
The Junior High Lady Lion basketball team put it on the Bartlett Bulldogs tonight in the lions den. Tenacious defense was the key! Next game will be at home versus Milano.
