The Lady Lions HS Volleyball teams made a clean sweep in McDade this afternoon! 🧹 JVA took the Bulldogs in two sets: 25-22 & 25-12 Varsity dominated in three sets: 25-9, 25-20 & 25-11 All three HS teams will be playing Tuesday, 10/22, at home against Thorndale starting at 5:00pm 🦁🏐🦁 #OwnIt #all_in

Earlier today, our Granger Marching Band competed in the UIL Region Competition in Giddings. The band had a wonderful performance and were given straight First Division ratings! Because of their placement, the band will be traveling to UIL Area Competition in Grosebeck on November 2nd. This is their third consecutive year of advancing to UIL Area, demonstrating this band’s commitment to excellence. Congratulations to our band on all of their hard work!

💜🔥🦁🎣GISD Students were delivered their official Granger Fishing Team gear today! The fishing team will be in action this Saturday at Lake Limestone for tournament number 2 on the year! The fishing team would like to thank Lucas Welles for their order & for being the official Granger Fishing Team Advisor, Mrs. P for serving as the school representative for GISD fishing, Principal Brosch for their logo design, and most importantly, the countless number of boat captains that are making the 24-25 tournament season possible for all these anglers! #GISDFishing #TogetherWeAreBuildingChampions

Each of the Jr High Lady Lion teams played some tough matches tonight. Each showing improvement in their skill & knowledge of the game. They played hard & with the heart of a Lion. Their last game of the season is Monday Oct 21st with the 7A team starting at 5 pm.

Granger MS Student Council is collecting gift cards & monetary donations for a GHS Alumni who lost their family home to a fire in Rogers this past weekend. You may bring the gift cards (HEB, Wal-Mart, Amazon, Visa, etc.) or cash donations to either front office. We will be collecting donations through Monday, Oct 28th. Saturday, October 5, Granger FFA was represented at the Area 12 Greenhand Camp in Troy by a few of our Freshmen FFA Members. Maize Hajda was chosen as the Star Greenhand from our FFA District for his display of leadership, participation and positive attitude throughout the day! ✨ Greenhand Camp is an introductory camp for FFA Freshmen to learn more about FFA and what opportunities are available to them in their Ag Program.
