The Junior High volleyball team traveled to Holland Monday for their 2nd game of the season. All 3 teams fell short of a win but played with a fighting Lion heart. They have been putting in work & have improved so much. They all had great team work & fought hard to the end. Their next game is Thursday September 7th in Granger playing against Thorndale.

Varsity volleyball took down Bartlett and NE Early Prep College in 2 sets each at the Rockdale tournament today. Catch day two of the tournament on Saturday. Game times TBD.
Lady Lion varsity volleyball finished the Rockdale tournament today going 1-2. The girls lost to Taylor, beat Meridian, and lost to Mumford. Catch the teams back in action next week vs Florence on Thursday at home. 3 teams will be playing beginning at 5 pm.

Limited T-Shirt sizes will be available for pickup beginning Monday, August 28th, in the HS/Elementary offices. 🔥🦁🏐 The Granger Lady Lions JH Volleyball started their season by playing Thrall. The mixed team played amazing and won both sets. The seventh grade A-Team played a nail biting 3 game set & lost with the whole team contributing. Avianna Perez & Lynette Angerstein served multiple aces. The 8th-grade volleyball game didn't end as we hoped, but experienced a valuable lesson in resilience and teamwork. Our team's spirit remains strong, and we're excited to tackle the challenges ahead with even more determination. The Lady Lions will be back in action next week! #GJHSVolleyball

Volleyball made the quick trip to Taylor this evening. JV B lost in 2 sets. JV A won in 3 sets. Varsity lost in 3 sets. JH kicks off their season Thursday in Granger. Mixed at 5, 7th at 6, 8th at 7. Varsity will be in Rockdale facing Bartlett at 2:30 and NE Early College at 3:30.

JV A volleyball took 3rd place in the Granger JV tournament. Game 1 beating Holland, Game 2 falling to Brentwood, Game 3 beating Thorndale and in Game 4 falling to CTCS. All 3 teams will play Tuesday in Taylor with JV A and B both playing at 5 side by side and varsity following.
Your XC team travelled to Caldwell today for a fun 1.5 relay meet. Your Lady Lions Varsity finished 6th in the 1A-4A division! Our boys competed as well finishing 12th in the 1A-4A division. This was truly an exciting meet to start the year! I'm very proud of these athletes!!
