š¦šš Volleyball takes a clean sweep in Bartlett tonight. Tonights game concluded the season for JVA. Very proud of these young ladies!!! Varsity will continue into season two with a bi-district playoff game next week! Details coming soon!








Your Granger Lions and Lady Lions fought hard at their last meet of the season! These boys and girls put so many hours into Cross Country this season that there are no other words than PROUD! Regionals was tough but we came out proud of all the accomplishments we have achieved all season long!! Out of 169 girls that competed we had three girls finish top 100. Keeleigh Peace was 50th, Eva Ramirez was 74th and Alexi Montagnino was 98th! On the boys side out of 174 runners three boys were top 100! Kye Welles 51st, Adrian Lizardo 67th and Isaac Campos 73rd. We are beyond proud of all our athletes because of all their effort and training they accomplished all season long! The amount of HEART & DEDICATION it takes to compete in XC is unlike any other! Congrats to all of the 2023 Varsity Boys & Girls Cross Country teams on a wonderful season!! #XC2023

The Jr High Lady Lions hosted the Bartlett Lassies. The Mixed team played an amazing match and ended in a tie with Alicia Valverde,
Kate Springer & Sophia Rusche having multiple service points. The 7th grade fought & battled hard but ended up loosing in 2 sets. 8th grade won their match in 2 sets with Charli Jo Orton, Skyla Thorsen & Rylinn Hamby serving multiple aces.
The Lady Lions had a great season with growth and improvement. The future is bright for Lady Lion Volleyball. Great job girls!!

šThe Lady Lions finished district home play today as they hosted Thorndale. The JVB team worked hard but lost in 3 sets. JVA was solid from the start & won in 2 sets. Varsity battled through 4 sets but fell short. Tuesdays JV A & varsity games in Bartlett will end district play.

The JH football team traveled to Chilton and fought hard in a tough game, keeping it close for 3 quarters and falling short in a late comeback. Catch the Lions back in action next Thursday in Milano at 5 PM.

Granger Technical Theatre students took a trip to Baylor University where they toured the 3 stages, light booth, scene shop, costume shop. They met and had a brown bag lunch Q&A with the head of the department, directors, designers, grad students and undergraduate students to learn about Baylor's world class design program and a world of career opportunities.

The Lady Lions varsity were hot on fire tonight in a big district win versus Holland. Varsity took the three set match sweep in rock solid fashion! The junior varsity battled in a hard faught three set match loss. Visit the Lions Den Saturday for the last home game of the season.

October is National Principal's Month and yesterday was Boss' Day! Since we were off on that day, We want to take the time today to honor our wonderful Principals, Mrs. Cundieff and Mr. Wagner and all the other boss' on our staff! Y'all are hard workers and dedicated to kids. We are grateful to have you all in Granger ISD advocating for staff and students each and every day.
