The Lady Lions went 0-3 in the Cameron tournament today. The record for the day did not reflect the improvement made throughout the day. The girls played over 300 points in today's matches. The volleyball teams hit the court again tomorrow in Moody, with JV B starting at 4 pm.

The Taylor Boys & Girls Club of East Williamson County will be at the Granger Elementary School Meet the Teacher Night, Monday, Aug. 14th, from 5:00-6:00.
Representatives will have information about an after school program opportunity.
We have a few extra copies of past years' Yearbooks. We have 2016, 2017, 2019, and a ton of 2020! We are selling them for $25 each. You can email Jessica Maughan or call the high school to purchase.
We also have a few copies of last year's yearbook that still need to be picked up and a few to sell!

The Lady Lions begin game play today hosting Salado in the Lions Den. JV lost 20-25 and 17-25. Varsity put up a solid fight but came up short in 5 sets with scores of 21-25, 25-19, 16-25, 25-22 & 11-15. Varsity will be playing in the Cameron tournament Thursday at 10, 11, & 2 pm.

I cannot even begin to tell you how honored I am to share this announcement again, knowing that tomorrow we break ground on our new high school.
99 years ago they began construction of our current school. Here we are on the eve of this new beginning and I see the words of the former Superintendent and I can't help but say, "Ditto to what he said." Some things change, and some things are just eerily familiar. He so eloquently described how the construction process may not be an easy one, but the sound of trucks and hammers will no doubt be music to our ears knowing that the end result will benefit the entire community of Granger. Please join us for this historic moment. We are blessed with our current building, but I pray daily for our new one and all that enter. See you tomorrow!
