💥Boy Varsity Results 💥 Let's start with Kye, Lucas and AD placing top 10 individually to qualify themselves to regionals!! What a show of effort and heart by these men!! Not only did our Lions go individually but as a team your Lions placed 2nd!! These young men showed us what it means to be a lion!! Junior High Girls Results!! Your Lady Lions worked so hard today at the District meet to prove to everyone that Granger is on the map!! We had 3 top 10 finishers that medaled! One of those top 10 was Kendall Welles which is your 2023 JH Girls Cross Country District Champion!! As a team our girls finished 2nd place!! Not only did we have individual medals but each JH girl PR'd today!! 💜🤍 #GOLIONS #XC2023

Junior High Boys cross country results! These kids improved all year long and the results from District prove that!! We had 4 out of our 5 runners get top 10 and medal! The JH football team traveled to Iola for the district opener, keeping it close in the first half and coming up short in the second half in a hard fought game. Catch them in action next Thursday at home vs Bremond at 5 PM.

Lots of volleyball for the Lady Lions in Thorndale tonight. Unfortunately, all 3 teams lost. JV B battled in a 2 set loss. JV A fell short in a 3 set loss. Varsity battled until the end in a 5 set loss. Up next will be Bartlett on Saturday in the Lions Den. JV B and varsity only.

💜🏐 The Jr High Lady Lions Hosted the Holland Hornets this evening. The Mixed Team started off with a hard fought game but lost in 2 games. Kate Springer & Chloe Cabelo had multiple aces. The 7th grade team played a nail biter going into 3 sets. Their agility & hustle helped them come out with a win! It was a great team effort. The 8th grade team dominated and won in 2 sets with another amazing team effort. The whole team played with intensity and played for each other.

Calling all 7th-12th grade students.... join Granger student council in a peanut butter and jelly drive competition vs Thrall. Bring jars of PB&J to your 3rd period class for the first two weeks of October. Winning class gets a prize!

On Saturday your Lions and Lady Lions travelled to Troy, TX for their last meet before district! I love seeing the progress we have made over the season!! Please come out Saturday, October 7th in Cameron to watch out teams compete at District! Cheer your high school teams on to continue their journey to Regionals!! #XC2023 #GOLIONS

The Jr High Lady Lions traveled to Rockdale for tournament play. 7th grade fought hard & came up short and was out after the first two games. 8th grade stepped up their play and placed 4th. Granger was she smallest school at this tournament and both teams played their hearts out! Way to go Lady Lions 🦁 Their next game is Monday in the Lions Den against Holland.

Great volleyball was played in the Lions Den this afternoon!!! Unfortunately, both JV teams fell short but the varsity team claimed a major victory. All three teams will travel to Thorndale on Tuesday with a 5 pm start.

JH and JV football teams were back in action tonight in Bremond, Tx. All 3 teams battled hard for 4 quarters with each of them showing some big play potential, but coming up short in all 3 of the contest. Come out and support next Thursday as JH goes to Iola and JV is at home!
